Hey guys ! Just wanted to let you in on the latest, of my acting news! I have been cast as the Dad in the Musical, Knuffle Bunny! I orginally auditioned for a non-singing roll in the chorus. Obviously you see how that turned out! I'm am very excited and also a little nervous, for my first Theater experiance. This has been a tremendous amount of work, but I regret nothing!

What are your New Year resolutions? Happy New Year folks, lets start off with a toast to last year. It was real 2012 ! I got my first movie experiance hopfully
It wasn't my last. This year I plan to get into some singing and dance classes, to better equipt me as an actor. I also plan On traveling to Carmel,Indiana to
get an agent and really filling my resume.

Nora HM: 1) How did you become an actor?
Isaiah.T.Butler: Well I had poked my nose round thinking of carrier interests, when I found acting. Then I studied about it and did some auditions, I didn't get my first two rolls I tried out for, but I kept trying and got this one.
Nora HM: 2) How is your character in the film "From Ashes"? Tell us a bit about your character.
Isaiah.T.Butler: My character in From Ashes is a bad guy, that's aboutall i can realease at this point
Nora HM: 3) Do you like your character in the film?
Isaiah.T.Butler: Yes! I love my character, it maybe emotionally taxing and a little painful during some scenes, but I love what I do!
Nora HM: 4) Are you just an actor?
Isaiah.T.Butler: For now yes. Though I've been writing my own songs and music since I was 10. I hope to maybe get into that a bit.
Nora HM: 5) Have you a dream?
Isaiah.T.Butler: Yes definitely, I dream to become one of the best actors, one of the GREATS. Also I dream to find a gorgeous girlfriend to share my dreams with and come with me in my movie life!
Nora HM: 6) Are you a fan of someone?
Isaiah.T.Butler: Um..I'm a fan of allot of people, Stefanie Scott, and Will Smith, and a few others
Nora HM: 7) Is what you going appear in a series or another movie?
Isaiah.T.Butler: Yeah i definitly plan to appear in other films. I'm actually trying to book some for the upcoming year.So I can have work before the year starts! That would be amazing

My stand on Acting
I believe acting is a craft much like everyone else, and I take it very seriously. Though, for some people they think its this allusive unattainable dream considering the "odds", and only happens to "lucky people". For others, they down play acting and consider it something that everyone can do and actors aren't to be taken seriously. Well I'm telling both parties, your WRONG. Let's start with the silly notion of odds. I really don't think they exist. Acting comes down to a few things, motive, determination, and disciple. If your in the business to get rich, famous just stop now. With all of the criticism, sacrifice, and work it takes you will either fall through or drop out. If your in it simply for the love and passion, and it brings you joy just to act, your in the right place. Then you need to be so determined that noone, and no road block can stop you! You have to remember though discipline is key as well, because you can have all the passion in the world, but if your lazy, it won't happen. Don't let people tell you the "odds" because that just crazy! If Abraham Lincoln had stuck with his "odds" of abolishing slavery, African Americans wouldn't be free today! If any of the great leaders or roll models ever stuck with the "odds" our world would not be the same! It just wouldn't. There would be no hope of every becoming anything more than ourselves is anyone had stuck with the "odds"! So don't think "odds", just get that out of your head right now. Focus on your motives and what your true passion is and you'll do just fine.

From Ashes
I have had and amazing time working along with the cast of From Ashes. The crew has been great, and the cast even more so. We all just, came together and worked on this film as a unit it was amazing. We have had a few road bumps ,but it was nothing we couldn't over come. I have learned so much from this experiance and can't wait to get some more!
